What is Paradox Puzzles?
Paradox Puzzles is a weekly newsletter which features a new logic puzzle (created by me) sent to your inbox every Sunday morning. As a lover of music and film and literature and poetry, I will also be peppering in some thoughts on some art I’m loving, so stay tuned!
What are logic puzzles? They’re pretty much exactly what they say on the tin — puzzles in which you have to solve for the truth, using the logic of language and deduction to guide your way.
Why logic puzzles? For me, this stems from a lifelong love of mathematical fun; I have always found tremendous solace in shutting off my world brain and turning on my computational brain. I hope they give you the same level of comfort.
Who is Paradox Puzzles?
Hey — I’m Nicole Fegan, a 26-year-old jack-of-some-trades, master of none. I’m a book editor and scenic carpenter by day, and a poet, film enthusiast, and math lover by night. My poetry and editing portfolios are on my website, for the curious.
I have been making logic puzzles since high school, and many of the ones featured on this site are modified versions of those puzzles I made when I should have been paying attention in various classes. I love to challenge my brain, I love math that is barely math, and I loved my Logic class in college more than maybe anything else I took. This project has been dormant for years, but it is finally seeing the light.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being here! Let the puzzling begin.
